Project Highlights

Fast track construction of a 2 x 37.5 megawatt gas turbine station in Baalbeck including all infrastructural works, steel, fuel tanks.

Project was executed in a record 8 months from greenfield status to commercial operation.

Also a 66 KV switchyard was constructed and equipment installed and commissioned by Ashada's sister company Energroup s.a.r.l.

A firefighting network was installed to cover all delivery and storage systems and related equipment were housed in a specially designed building. A command building was constructed to house all control equipment. This power plant spearheaded the Lebanese Government effort to raise electrical production while other major production facilities were planned and procured.
